Tip #1:

You can bypass the Document OnStartup script when you open a Brio document.

To prevent a startup script from running, hold down the Ctrl key before opening the document.  This method comes in handy when a developer has accidentally enter something in the Document Startup script that he/she thought she was entering somewhere else.  Try creating a document and adding the Application.Quit() in the Document Startup script.  Save the file.  Whenever the document is opened it will automatically quit the program! Now start Brio Explorer again and this time hold down the Ctrl key while selecting the file you just created to open.  You can now open the file and correct the problem.  Warning!!  This method could be employed to bypass a StartUp script that contains a security logon request.
