Tip #5:

Adding Spotlighter to Results, Pivots and Report

When you use the Spotlighter selection from the Format toolbar option, select the fill color of the item being spotlighted to be transparent.  If a background color is chosen later for a column, row or section boundary the background color of the spotlighted item will not override the selected background.
